The leaf from the Stevia plant is used as a natural sweetener. The sweet leaf is regularly used in South America with numerous reported health benefits, including a low impact on blood glucose levels.
We often infuse stevia and chopped ginger together for 10 minutes then drink as a tea. This recipe was given to us by a wonderful monk in northern Thailand, it is great for improving digestion.
